NINTENDO: Satoru Iwata has told investors that first-party releases will be staggered to ensure ongoing Wii U hardware sales. Nintendo is letting third parties shoulder more of the responsibility for generating hype during the launch window, with Nintendo pushing for sales into 2013.


DENNATON GAMES: The indie developer behind popular ultra-violent title Hotline Miamiis in talks with Sony about bringing the title to Vita. The developer stated it would need another studio to port it to the handheld but were keen to bring the game to new platforms.


DEEP SILVER: Dead Island Riptide, the follow-up to Deep Silver’s 2011 smash hit, will be released for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC on April 26th, 2013.


ROCKSTAR: The Grand Theft Autopublisher is working on iOS and Android versions of GTA: Vice Cityto mark the game’s 10th Anniversary.
