HAVING A SLASH Now this is more like it. We’re still looking for your best rock god poses, and Future’s Iain Wilson has just raised the bar with his homage to the legendary Slash. Think you can top it? Send us your photos to Rocksmith@intentmedia .co.uk – you could win a copy of Ubisoft’s acclaimed music game, plus a real electric guitar.

ON THE COVER

Mobile giant Nokia slammed Chart- Track for its ‘facts’ over N-Gage sales. Chart-Track claimed that Nokia’s mobile gaming device sold fewer than 1,000 units in the UK. However, Nokia claimed it has sold over 400,000 units worldwide within two weeks and stated a significant portion of the sales were European. “We cannot give credence to the N- Gage figures Chart-Track reports,” said Mark Squires, Nokia’s director of corporate communications. “It says ‘total market share’ on the reports, but it quite clearly isn’t total.”

CHASING WOMEN Games.nl owner Gieneke Spannenburg wrote on how game companies aren’t trying appeal to adult women over 25. “I have been amazed at how women have been ignored. The hardware industry does the same. “A recent survey showed that some 60 per cent of online gamers are female,” Spannenburg added. What’s interesting is how the majority of those ‘60 per cent’ are playing online free games. Does that suggest that the future of gaming is being shaped by women?

OFF THE RECORD

Want to win a copy of WWE ‘13 signed by CM Punk, plus tickets to the next WWE tour and a bag full of goodies? We’re inviting MCVreaders to create their own wrestler using THQ’s Be On The

IDOLMASTER We’re shocked to see that Simon

Cowell didn’t always wear a ludicrous v-neck shirt down to his ankles. The ad for the official Pop Idolvideo game shows Cowell in a respectable black T-shirt with only a slither of chest hair poking through. We miss those days.

Box Facebook app. Check out THQ’s examples below to see how the pros do it. In addition to your own WWE cover art, we want you to create your own wrestling personas: name, costume, special moves – the works. You can even create videos via Twitter service Tout. Email your entries to WWE@intentmedia.co.uk, and share your touts with the hashtag #MCVBeOnTheBox. Entrants can also donate their prizes to the charity of their choice.

Make your box art by heading over to apps.facebook.com/beonthecoverofwwe/
