at the end of this year. We aim to expand quickly and are already investigating suitable sites for a third store in the future. We have experienced rapid success
through our store opening in a short time. I think what has made the difference is that we always try and go the extra mile for our customers. We educate and incentivise all our staff to take pride in their work and always to give 100 per cent of their efforts. There is no doubt that running a Papa
John’s franchise is hard work, however, with the backing of the strong brand and top-quality product, the potential for growth is exponential. We are looking forward to an exciting future and are delighted we invested in Papa John’s, the daddy of all pizza franchises.”

Adherence to guidelines means our staff are all pulling in the right direction and guarantees consistency in our offering. With this input, pretty quickly all the staff were on side with the new management team. From a marketing perspective, we used
vouchers and set up sponsorship links with the University of East Anglia. This was really successful and increased footfall in the store. We have also introduced ‘mega weeks’ where we invite customers to come and try a particular pizza at a discounted price. Transactions increase substantially during these ‘mega weeks’. Although we do not greatly increase revenue due to the heavy discounting, it is a successful marketing exercise and a chance to introduce new customers to
our quality pizzas. New customers are also given voucher books to incentivise them to return very soon! Our efforts were rewarded as the Papa John’s area manager was recently pleased to inform us that our turnover had increased by 75 per cent compared with the same month for the previous year’s trading. The great thing about the Papa John’s
opportunity is that there is plenty of chance for us to grow as much as we want. Plus the franchise has got the personnel and back-up in place to help to realise our future goals. Our plan is to build upon the success of our current store. As we will open more stores.
personal investment; we have ambitions, however, to open a further Ipswich store
Papa John’s tried-and-tested formula, and an established British management team with many years’ experience in franchising and retailing, means a solid foundation for a very promising future. Papa John’s aims to open a further Annual system sales exceed $1 billion, and now Great Britain is spearheading international expansion of the brand. summer 2000, customer feedback has been excellent and Papa John’s was named UK Pizza Delivery Operator of the Year in 2004 and 2005 by the Pizza, Pasta and Italian Food Association. It is no accident that Papa John’s has been voted the ‘best pizza’ in over 70 separate US surveys and has claimed the top spot in the American Customer Satisfaction Index for nine consecutive years. The reason is simple: commitment to using the highest quality ingredients to produce superior quality, traditional pizza. The only additional ingredient we need is the enthusiasm and drive of our franchisees. Papa John’s, has opportunities for potential franchisees throughout the UK including the key locations of Yorkshire, Manchester, West Midlands, East Midlands, South West, North East, Wales & Scotland.
