FS previews ETR1000 Frecciarossa high-speed train

MAJOR attraction at the outside track area will be a 1:1 scale mock-up of ETR1000 (Track FB/15), the new high- speed train being developed by AnsaldoBreda (Hall 4.2, stand 125) and Bombardier (Hall 2.2, stand 201) for Italian State Railways (FS). The prototype is due to be delivered next year ahead of the first delivery in 2014.

stand-alone test bench with an integrated operation terminal for axle-mounted generators and pick up sensors; XP20DS (drive service) which is used with XP20R (remote) to control up to nine test benches simultaneously during integration tests or in the laboratory; and XP20M (move) which is designed for radar

sensors and simulates the moving ground during operation. A transmitter unit in the second component provides the input variable for the radar sensor. Several new products will be displayed by Huber & Suhner (Hall 12, stand 301) including its new fibre optic cable for rolling stock, Radox

and Interflo 550 ERTMS application, as well as its range of Innovia driverless systems.

Railcat Cat 7, and Yagi antenna which is suitable for CBTC applications and use in tunnels.

Experts from Berner & Mattner (Hall 6.2, stand 211) will be on hand to discuss the company’s expertise in electronic systems and how it can help support rail operators when generating requirements

catalogues, modelling and simulating system behaviour, and designing modular system architecture.
