PLANTATION TO VINEYARD Your journey through American history begins at Plimoth Plantation, site of the 1620 pilgrims’ settlement where lifestyles and crafts of 17th-century Plymouth are brought to life by re-enactors. See Plymouth Rock, then head south for free time in Falmouth before ferrying to Martha’s Vineyard, a classic summer resort. Meals BD


3. EXPLORING MARTHA’S VINEYARD Much of this storied island remains exactly as it was when the first Europeans arrived in the early 17th century. Guided sightseeing includes the towns of Oak Bluffs, Vineyard Haven, and West Tisbury; the island is endowed with salt sea marshes, sweeping beaches, idyllic yacht harbors, and narrow streets lined with stately homes.
