1. ARRIVE BARCELONA Tour begins: 4:00 PM, El Palace Barcelona. A transfer is included from Barcelona Airport to El Palace Barcelona, restored in the tradition of the city’s grand hotels. Afternoon sightseeing showcases a taste of life in this Catalonian city. Drive up to Olympic-sized Montjuic Hill for Olympic-sized views of the city and sea. 2. BARRI GÒTIC & PARC GÜELL Stroll the storied lanes of the Gothic Quarter, Barri Gòtic, with a local guide, stopping inside the cloistered cathedral to see its carved 15th-century choir stalls and medieval Catalan paintings. Then fast forward into the whimsical, Modernisme-inspired world of Antoni Gaudí when you visit Parc Güell and la Sagrada Família, still unfinished today. Guided sightseeing ends at Plaça Catalunya on the pedestrian promenade Las Ramblas, the perfect place for people watching and more tapas tasting. Meals B
