Grand Canadian Rockies
Make a trip well worth it to Moraine Lake and ride an Ice Explorer vehicle atop Athabasca Glacier. Riding the rails to the Rockies
Thanks to the visionaries – and the railroad barons – who opened up Canada’s Rocky Mountain wilderness to travelers, some of North America’s most spectacular landscapes provide the setting for this awe-inspiring trip. Prepare to be dazzled from the moment you touch down with views of snowcapped mountains in Vancouver. Take time for tea and a garden stroll in gentrified Victoria and flightsee over islands brimming with forests, marine reserves and wildlife. Then it’s all aboard a private VIA Rail car to experience baronial resorts and lodges surrounded by scenic beauty that inspires and revives.
