NORTH AMERICA “
” Their Most Memorable Moment: “ Sunrise from Bright Angel Point on our last
morning on the north rim of the Grand Canyon. After all the glorious sites we had viewed on our tour, I finally reached sensory overload on this morning with every face and angle of the canyon seeming to reflect the rising sun in a perfect light. A very spiritual and moving experience. – 5H Traveler Review, Spirit of the Desert

Eye candy for the soul. That’s how one guest described the irrepressible canyon-studded
landscapes that impressed her in the American West. Walking through a lava tube in Hawaii was unforgettable for a first-time Tauck traveler. A fortuitously timed visit to Ft. Pulaski coincided with an anniversary ceremony to honor the soldiers of the Civil War, making a lasting impact on a Charleston / Savannah guest. Watching the antics of a mother polar bear with her cubs from a comfortable tundra vehicle in Manitoba... savoring the absolutely delicious scones at High Tea at The Fairmont Empress in Victoria... my first sighting of Yosemite in California... seeing Old Faithful erupt at dawn witnessed by only the two of us and the bison... our entire trip... were among the most memorable vacation moments for our guests. Spirit of the Desert was an amazing journey
into a world of beauty and grandeur that I had not experienced. A constant sense of wonder as colors changed with each movement of the sun and size and distance seemed unfathomable. Tauck was simply first class in all aspects, from a perfect guide and driver to flawless selection of all accommodations and wonderful extras!
