Pair of promotions for US manufacturer
Rod Falconer and Rich Bellando take on new challenges
Biamp Systems has named Ben Wilmot as the company’s newest European applications engineer, based out of London. In this role, he will be responsible for assisting with technical support tasks including system design assistance, troubleshooting system issues and providing customer training. Prior to Biamp, Wilmot worked at Harman International as an applications engineer, EMEA.

Bellando, meanwhile, has been with Community since 2005, when he joined as an inside sales associate. In his new role, Bellando will be responsible for the implementation of special projects focused on expanding OEM markets and developing long-term growth for Community. He will also continue to address the needs of contractors and end-users worldwide. “Community’s commitment to our customers has allowed me to enjoy many lasting relationships within this ever-changing industry. Meyer Sound has announced John McMahon as executive director of operations, a newly created position. He will play a key role in aligning
Simon Clarke has joined Crestron as marketing manager to the EMEA region. Covering all aspects of Crestron’s commercial and residential activity, he will be working closely with the in-house sales teams and accredited integrators on joint projects and developing new initiatives.

Pharos Architectural Controls has restructured its management team with Chris Hunt (pictured), previously commercial director, promoted to managing director, and Simon Hicks taking the role of technical director. Hunt is a founding director of Pharos and his appointment as managing director reflects his current responsibility for the management of the sales team and the day-to- day operation of the company. Hicks joined Pharos in 2006 as a software developer; as technical director, he has wider responsibility for steering the development of Pharos products and the management of the technical support team.

Genelec has made a number of additions to its sales team. Patrick Lundin (pictured) has joined in Sweden as country sales manager for the newly launched range of home audio products. In the Far East, Feng Haying has been appointed national director of Beijing Genelec Audio, while Miguel Dominguez Bravo is now regional sales manager for South America.

Northern Light has announced the appointment of Andy Booth as the company’s senior contracts manager. Booth has been working in project management for Northern Light since December 2011 and has more than 19 years of experience within the entertainment technology sector, gained during his time with Stage Electrics, AC Lighting, LSI Projects and P&O. This newly created post will form a key role within the company’s installations team, where he will take overall responsibility for managing quality and finances across all Northern Light installation projects.
