Notice processing staff at Hillingdon Council have registered an impressive 100 per cent pass rate in their City and Guilds exams.
After a month of working at home and a two-day training course provided by Alpha Parking, the 11 members of staff passed their Level 3 Award in Notice Processing with fl ying colours. The City and Guilds qualifi cation is
specifi cally designed for notice processing
‘A 100 per cent pass rate is no mean feat, as the level 3 qualifi cation is equivalent to achieving an A or AS level and should not be taken lightly’ says Alpha Parking director Penny Winder. ‘Blended learning allows us to offer a cost-effective method of providing the qualifi cation while ensuring that staff receive the high-quality training they require to gain this qualifi cation.’ Hillingdon’s parking administration manager Angela O’Shea added: ‘We take staff training and the achievement of accredited qualifi cations seriously, and it is gratifying that this result showcases our commitment to our staff and their continued professional development.’
WIGAN MOVES INTO
DIFFERENT LEAGUE Metric Parking is to replace Wigan Metropolitan Borough Council’s on-street parking machines. Wigan MBC is replacing its entire on- street stock with state-of-the-art Metric Aura Elite pay-and-display machines, which will be managed online via the Web ASLAN Back Offi ce system.
