E-BIKE DISTRIBUTOR Cycling Made Easy is launching two new products to the trade – the Ecobike Adventure and the Mobiky folding electric bikes. The full-size Ecobike Adventure

sports bike delivers a 45-mile range on a single charge and sports a high torque hub motor and lithium ion battery, which is incorporated into the frame. The Adventure also uses a Shimano Tourney Mechs system, so riders retain control and pedal response with the option of electric assistance. The Adventure spent years in development with a Spanish manufacturer working with the Catalonia University in Barcelona. Exclusively available via Cycling

Made Easy, the Adventure retails at £1,699. Cycling Made Easy’s Ray Wookey

said: “We are seeing a massive increase in sales and many people are beginning to understand the economic benefits of using an electric bike. Of course there are known e bike markets such as motor homers and people with caravans, but increasingly we are seeing younger, more style-conscious people wanting to enhance their lifestyle, commute with ease, minimise their travel expenditure – and have fun.”
