NAMCO’S ADVANTAGE TO INDIES Publisher Namco Bandai and its distribution partner Advantage invited some of the UK’s leading indies to the Alton Towers hotel for its first independent retail event.
The attending retailers were able to get hands-on time with Namco’s hottest upcoming products, including the games that headlined the publisher’s E3 line-up such as Inversion, Tekken Tag Tournament 2, Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2and Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition. There was even an open bar, food and a raffle to keep guests happy, with prizes ranging from games and arcade fight sticks to signed artwork. “Awesome event,” ZiiP’s James Galland told MCV. “It certainly gave me inspiration that even the large publishers think about the little guys. “The whole event was extremely well presented and hospitality was second to none. I look forward to working with Namco Bandai and Advantage.”
