2K Games will be advertising Spec Ops: The Linewith a heavyweight TV campaign, targeting the obvious audience of males aged 18 to 34. Standout spots have been secured during key Euro 2012 matches.
THE LINE ONLINE Online promotions kicked off earlier this month, focusing on specialist gaming websites. Spec Opswill also benefit from a number of homepage takeovers, raising awareness of the game and its June 29th launch date.
PAST OPS The first Spec Opswas released for PC way back in 1998, and was quickly followed by two expansions. In 2000 the series transferred to consoles with the PSone shooter Spec Ops II: Green Berets.
CLASSIFIED OPS
The franchise has not been seen since 2002’s PSone title Spec Ops: Airborne Commando. Once a new Spec Opsgame was in development at Rockstar Vancouver. But the project was canned.
