Details of marketing initiatives planned by Brand USA, the body created by the Travel Promotion Act to promote tourism to the country, should be unveiled in April at the annual Pow Wow trade event in Los Angeles. The act, signed by president Obama in


2010, has earmarked up to $200 million annually to promote the USA, collected from the ESTA visa fund and matching private sector contributions. museum and study centre this year: The Missouri Civil War Museum (MCWM) and The Missouri Civil War Studies Centre (MCWSC). The MCWM and the MCWSC will become the state’s largest educational complex dedicated exclusively to the history surrounding Missouri’s role in the American Civil War. More than 1,100 battles and skirmishes (1860-1865) are recorded as having taken place in Missouri, more than any other state except Virginia and Tennessee. The MCWM will showcase the role

American Airlines will add a


fourth flight between London- Heathrow (LHR) and Dallas/Fort Worth from June 14. The new six-times weekly service


(every day except Thursday) will leave London-Heathrow at 10.30, arriving into Dallas/Fort Worth at 14.40. The new return flight leaves Dallas/Fort Worth at 17.15, arriving into London-Heathrow at 08.30 the following morning.. The flight will be operated by a Boeing 767-300 aircraft with 219 seats.
