return service to the Maldives from Abu Dhabi last November. Emirates operates 15 flights a day
from the UK to Dubai, with two daily flights onto the Maldives. Sri Lankan Airlines’ direct London flight to Malé will cease on March 25.

The Maldives is made up of around 1200 islands including 200 inhabited islands and 97 resort islands. It is the lowest-lying country in the world with a maximum height of just 2.3 metres.
