U regulators have approved Danish online gambling tax laws following complaints from land-based operators who argued that the laws applied to online were far lower than
in the land industry. In response, the Danish betting industry issued a statement calling it a ‘landmark’ decision, and said that in effect it clears all EU member states to apply lower taxes for online operators. marketing agency, Somo, to develop the mobile offering, Virgin Games has announced the launch of Virgin Casino Mobile. The mobile product is integrated into the company’s bespoke-built gaming platform and will be developed into a multi-content proposition with games from a range of content partners. The mobile product has been developed as a web application, allowing it to be instantly available to customers without the need for App Store approval. Virgin Games has attached its single wallet system to the new mobile product, meaning its players use the same account to play at Virgin Casino, Virgin Bingo, Virgin Poker and now mobile casino. At launch, the mobile site will initially offer
Microgaming’s mobile games content, including Thunderstruck and Tomb Raider slots through the game developer’s Quick Fire integration process. However, Virgin Games plans to launch additional content suppliers into its mobile casino in a similar fashion to its internet offering, which provides a variety of games from a number of developers. …in related news, Virgin Games has signed up vzaar as its video content technology provider. The company will use the vzaar technology to serve videos on all its casino, bingo, poker and mobile sites. The new functionality provided by vzaar follows a complete re-launch of all Virgin Games websites in September of this year.
