Spray tanning is an incredibly popular treatment and has become a staple of many beauty regimes either for special occasions such as weddings, before jetting off on holiday, or simply as a weekly treat to get a gorgeous glow.
Youmay already offer hand-applied tan treatments thinking that your salon couldn’t possibly accommodate a spray booth, or alternatively already use an airbrush systembutwant to go automatic.Youmight be amobile therapistwho has demand fromclients for tanning on the go.Whatever your requirements, andwhatever your space restrictions, there’s a spray tanning booth to suit.
In essence there are three different styles of Spray Tanning Booths:Automated, Extraction and Pop-Up or Tent Cubicles andmost spray tan suppliers offer their take on either one ormore of these.
Automated booths
The latestAutomated Spray Tan Booths enable your clients to operate the treatment themselves; saving your therapists precious time as there is no need for themto performthe treatment. Simply run through a consultationwith the client, explain howthemachine works (many suppliers provide step by step visuals) and if they’re comfortable, leave themto experience their spray tan.
Thesewalk-in booths, usually around the size of a large shower cubicle, are enclosed and are often self-cleaning. Solution is sprayed onto the client through nozzles on the inside of the booth and theywalk out of the booth virtually dry.
Automated Booths are great for clients who are looking for a total all-over tan without any tell-tale white lines (as they can stand in the booth naked) and for those who do not like the intimacy of a personal treatment. However, these booths are usually static machines due to their size, weight and electrical / waste requirements, and so require salons to dedicate a roomto spray tanning.
Extraction booths
The latest Extraction Booths come in a variety of shapes and sizes, and are used in conjunctionwith an airbrush spray system.

Many newExtraction Booths are easy to self-assemble and are portable, so you don’t need to dedicate a specific roomin your salon solely to spray tanning.
Pop-up booths & tents
