STATS Sales Snapshot
This month we broke down the average ticket price into smaller increments to get a better idea of how nearly 70 percent of retailers range. Just about half claim a price between $200 and $400, on par from the previous month. Surprisingly, the amount of retailers boasting a $701+ ticket rose 9 percent from September. “iPod integration has helped our numbers either by offering the interface modules or by showing a customer the benefits of purchasing an aftermar- ket head unit with iPod control,” said one retailer.
