locations, we wound up doing 20 stops dur- ing the day. While the promised sun never materialized, it was still a lot of fun.

Railfan Timetable Each month, we publish a calendar of coming events of interest to railfans in the pages of this magazine. We try to include as many listings as we can each month, as we see it as a ser- vice to our readers. What many folks do not know is that these listings are also submitted by our readers. We can’t list your event if we don’t know about it. So how do you get listed? We want to list your historical events,

photo charters, railfan tours, and excur- sions. Adding your event to the listings on our web site is easy. Just go to railfan.com/timetable and click on “Submit an Event.” Fill out the form, and click “Sub- mit.” That’s all there is to it. Once your en- try is reviewed, it will appear on our web site. To have your listing considered for our print edition, it should be posted at least 90 days before the date of the event. Event descriptions should be brief and to

the point, “Just the facts, ma’am.” Please do not send notices to our office, as all listings are harvested directly from our web site to avoid errors and duplication. There is no charge to post a listing, and the additional exposure on our web site and in print will help raise awareness of your activities! — O.M.V.
