MECHANICAL CONTRACTING PRODUCTS Expansion valves

The addition of the ETS 6 to the ETS series of electrically operated expansion valves is designed to control liquid injection into evaporators, the new valve regulates refrigerant flow by offering a total of 480 steps from fully closed to fully open and ensures precise resolution for better control of superheat, even at low flow rates. With the ability to adapt to a system’s exact capacity demands, the ETS 6 improves energy efficiency in refrigeration, heat pumps and air-conditioning systems. The ETS 6 is compatible with all common refrigerants, including R410A, R407C, R404A and R134a. Compact and lightweight, the new valve can also be used in heat pump systems with bi-flow operation and joins a line of valves that covers the entire range of valve capacities. DANFOSS.

The T-2012RFLG and S-2012RFLG full port rotating flange isolation ball valve

Greenpipe® line

In order to meet the rising demand for polypropylene- random (PP-R) in larger and more ambitious projects, Aquatherm, Inc. has extended its Greenpipe® line up to 18-in.dia., and the Climatherm® line up to 24-in. dia. These new pipe sizes are ideal for water mains, high rise buildings, district energy systems and large chilled water systems. Designed for HVAC applications, Aquatherm Climatherm® SDR 17.6 is now available in sizes ranging from 6- in. dia. to 24-in. dia., and Greenpipe, which is specifically engineered for potable water, is available in SDR 11 from ½-in. dia. to 18-in. dia. Greenpipe SDR 7.4 will still be available from ½-in. dia. to 10-in. dia. AQUATHERM, INC.

Ideal for circulator pump isolation, permitting pump removal without complete system drain-down, this durable forged brass full-port design does not affect pump flow volumes. Standard diamond-shaped pump flange connection rotates, to allow infinite valve positioning and integrated drain valve with tethered cap permits purging, balancing and flushing operations. Its positive-seal, blowout-proof stem features dual Teflon* packing and EPDM rubber O-

ring seals. Available in threaded or sweat connections, sizes: 3/4” to 1- 1/4”. Flange mounting hardware is included. LEGEND VALVE.
