CONTENTS DEC 2011 COVER STORY 2011 Contractor of the Year

J.C. Cannistraro, Inc., founded in Boston in 1963, has grown into a leader in construction technology and pre- fabrication, having used BIM for 3D coordination nearly 10 years. Applying its expertise in prefabrication to energy projects and hospitals, Cannistraro was a natural choice to help the NGO Partners in Health build a charity hospital in Haiti, struggling to get back on its feet after the catastrophic earthquake early in 2010. At left is Dr. Paul Farmer, director of Partners in Health; on the right is John Cannistraro Jr., president of J.C. Cannistraro. p 52
