LINDSEY PERSONAL STATS


Date of Birth: July 4, 1988 Hometown: Las Vegas, NV Residence: West Jordan, UT


An accomplished junior inline skater, Lindsey transitioned to ice at age 14, training with Wilma Boomstra at the Southern California Speed Skating Association, along with short track skaters including Jeff Simon, JR Celski and Jordan Malone.


Lindsey has raced in both long and short track for Team USA, but specializes in the 500m and 1000m long track distances. He represented Team USA in the 2011 World Sprint Championships, placing 16th in the 1000m, and 19th in the 500m. He won silver at the 2011 U.S. Sprint Championships.


Off the ice, Lindsey enjoys playing the guitar and reading non-fi ction. He studied at Northern Michigan University in Marquette, MI as part of the United States Olympic Committee’s Olympic Education Program.
