Known as one of the world’s most talented inline skaters, Bowe transitioned to the ice full-time last year and has quickly become one of Team USA’s most promising long track athletes. She had an impressive 2010-11 season taking the American Cup Overall title in the 500m, 1000m and 1500m distances, while fi nishing second overall in the U.S. Championships. She began this season taking second place in the 500m, 1000m and 1500m distances at the 2011 US Speedskating Single Distance Championships.
Bowe recently graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a degree in Sociology and Social Science. Bowe was also a starting guard for Florida Atlantic University’s basketball team, following a stellar high school career in the sport. While enjoying her move to the Mountain West, Bowe does miss the beaches in her home state of Florida.
