POKER

Shuffle Master organises its deck

S

huffle Masterhas been active in li- censing its products with two new announcements in October. The firm has amended its sublicence

and online gaming agreement with Chartwell Technology, which has seen the latter secure rights to offer Shuffle Master’s popular Three Card Poker game to legal regulated online op- erators in the British Isles, including the United Kingdom, the Republic of Ireland, the Isle of Man and the Channel Islands.

The amendment builds on a 2009 licensing

agreement under which Chartwellalso secured rights to market software based on other Shuf- fle Master’s proprietary games, including Drag- on Bonus, Let it Ride, Fortune Pai Gow Poker, Casino War, and Ultimate Texas Hold ‘Em. Darcy Krogh, VP business development of Chartwell, said: “The opportunity to partner

with such a well-respected North American gaming brand is fundamental to our focus on developing one of the most comprehensive gaming platforms for the delivery of the best gaming content to the regulated online gaming industry.”

Meanwhile, Shuffle Master has also signed a deal with OpenBet allowing it to provide on- line games based on some of Shuffle Master’s most popular proprietary table games to Canada’s legalised online gaming sites, in- cluding Loto-Québec and the British Columbia Lottery Corporation. “The agreement with Shuffle Master allows us to deliver even more content to the Cana- dian lottery market as their enabling technol- ogy platform and e-casino provider,” said Max Francis, OpenBet’s commercial partner manager.

The feedback from the panel was invaluable and will be used to fine tune the business model. We secured a

CONSULTING Website launch

I

hre Consultingfounder Edward Ihre believes his firm’s new website will help inform the market of its achievements over the last 18 months. He said “It has be- come apparent during this period that there has been a lack of transparency/pre- sentation of not only what we bring to the value chain, but also what various affiliate programs offer, which brands they support and how those differ from one another in terms of strategy, target markets, software and USPs. All of that should and will have a major impact on which operators and affil- iates should work together. We hope to change that, making the industry more effi- cient and profitable doing so.”
