Die-cast aluminium enclosures added to existing product range
To compliment its existing product portfolio, Eta Enclosures has introduced a new range of Die-cast Aluminium enclosures. As the range is sealed to IP66 as standard, and with IP67 available on request, the level of protection pro- vided by these enclo- sures makes them well suited to meet the demands of controls placed in aggressive and hos- tile environments. Painted in RAL 7001 as standard and available from stock in seven sizes spanning 125mm x 80mm x 57mm to 260mm x 160mm x 90mm, the range can also be speci- fied unpainted with delivery on short lead times. Customisation options are also available on request.

Enter 208 New kit to enable faster mounting
A new fast action mounting kit has been launched by OKW to compliment the ART-CASE series of plastic electronic enclosures. Many of the applications for which the ART-CASE is used require the units to be mounted on walls, ceilings, partitions, vehicles, machine housings and other equipment. As a result of customer feedback from these applications, OKW has developed a mounting device that clips into the cut- outs provided on the base or bottom lid of all ART-CASE models.

The mounting device is moulded in ABS (UL 94 HB) in off white or black to match the enclosures, although special colours available on request. The device is mount- ed to the wall, or surface, and the ART- CASE is then snapped into place. A secure and discreet assembly is achieved with no visible fixing screws to prevent tampering. The ART-CASE series is available in four formats - round, oval, square and rectangular shapes, and all models can be configured with a series of three dif- ferent base sections, two of which are inclined at 30° or 55°. The other base section increases vertical height by 20mm, providing greater internal space for the electronics, and is especially use- ful for ceiling or wall mounted devices.
