Selling Long Haul and its associated products have been providing quality training material to the travel industry for the past 20 years and this new partnership will help us build on this further by extending our reach. Travel Weekly has a clear understanding of trade needs and clearly recognised the value of our product and ability to deliver the travel industry with the best training and communication solutions." Andy Jordan, publishing director of
Travel Weekly, said the partnership would offer an unbeatable training product for both travel agents and suppliers. “We looked at our existing training
offering, and carried out extensive market research to explore ways to improve on it and deliver the very best product for the industry,” he said. “It quickly became apparent that
Travel Uni’s online functionality and support far outstripped anything else in the market, and the opportunity to ally that product with the industry’s biggest media brand was too good to miss.” In addition to promotion across Travel
Weekly’s suite of magazines and websites, the new training offering will be integrated into
Gazetteers.com, the information and advice website used daily by 75% of retail travel agents."
