The Macau Government Tourist Office (MGTO) is giving UK travel agents the chance to experience Macau for themselves with an exciting competition to win a holiday for two to Macau, including return flights to Hong Kong and four nights’ accommodation in a five-star hotel.
HOW TO ENTER
All existing members of the Macau Specialist online training scheme, or any UK agent who registers before November 25, 2011, can enter this fabulous competition. All you have to do is: 1. Visit
www.macauspecialist.co.uk and register for the online training programme. You do not have to have qualified as a Macau Specialist to enter the competition, as long as you have registered. (If you are already a member of Macau Specialist, you can skip this step).
2. Then just answer the two questions below and email your answers by November 25, 2011, plus your name, job title, company name, address, email address and telephone number to macau@

The Macau Specialist Scheme is the UK online training programme of the Macau Government Tourist Office. Free to complete, it has been designed to help UK agents increase their knowledge of this exciting destination. There are four modules covering the
highlights of what to see and do in Macau – from the UNESCO World Heritage listed Historic Centre to the world’s highest bungy jump from the Macau Tower and, of course, Macau’s famous food and nightlife. It also contains key facts and selling tips to help you promote this dynamic destination. In fact, it has everything you need at your fingertips. At the end of each module is a simple quiz to complete and, once you’ve passed all four modules, that’s it – you’re a qualified Macau Specialist! To register for the programme, just visit

Terms and Conditions 1. Entry into the competition implies acceptance of these terms and conditions. 2. The competition is only open to UK residents aged 18 or over in full time employment as a sales agent for a UK travel agency or tour operator who are members of, or have registered for, the Macau Specialist Scheme by the closing date. No purchase is necessary. 3. No responsibility will be accepted for entries lost for technical or other reasons.
4. Entry is restricted to one per person. 5. The decision of the judges is fi nal and no correspondence will be entered into. 6. All entries must be received by midnight on
November 25, 2011. 7. The winner will be the fi rst eligible entry drawn at random from all correct entries received by the stated closing date. 8. The winner will be notifi ed within seven days of the closing date. If we are unable to reach the winner within ten days of awarding the prize, it will be passed to the next eligible entrant. 9. There is one prize of a holiday for two people to Macau including return economy class fl ights between London and Hong Kong, ferry transfers between Hong Kong and Macau and four nights in a shared room at The Venetian Hotel in Macau, including breakfast. Travel insurance, travel to/from UK airport and personal
expenditure are not included.
10. It is the responsibility of the winner to ensure that he/she and their companion have valid passports and travel insurance and obtain any necessary vaccinations and visas for their trip. Travel is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the tour operator. 11. . The trip must be booked by December 16 and taken between January 1 and June 30 2012, excluding Chinese New Year. Other blackout dates may apply. 12. Winners should obtain approval from their appropriate manager/head offi ce if required. 13. All elements of the prize are non-transferable, non- negotiable and there are no cash alternatives. 14. The winner and companion agree not to hold
Macau Government Tourist Offi ce responsible for – and indemnify Macau Government Tourist Offi ce against all losses, expense, damages and costs incurred as a result of – any death or injury however caused or loss of or damage to property arising out of or in connection with taking the prize. 15.
