Art Chester’s Jeep The Mountain Models Art Chester’s Jeep kit has been engineered to be an easy

building and easy flying scale model that takes the ParkZone and E-flite Ultra Micro electronics and includes a complete hardware package. Its 16-inch wingspan makes it easy to transport for flying in indoor or outdoor flying sites. Easy to fly and docile at low control throws, it can be turned into a nimble 3-channel aerobat with higher control throws. The model is constructed of laser-

cut and engineered balsa and plywood and requires 3-channel control (elevator, rudder, throttle). Specifications: wing span, 16

inches; wing area, 58 square inches; length, 12 inches; flying weight: 1.1 ounces; wing loading: 2.7 oz/sq. ft.; cube loading, 4.3; power system, PKZ3624. Designed for the beginner pilot/builder, the price is $29.00.

Cartoon Warbirds from Parkflyer Plastics Parkflyer Plastics is pleased to announce the arrival of its new line of R/C

planes. Inspired by the “Deals Wheels” models from years ago, you may remember the “cartoon” version of these scale planes. The models are equal in size, weight and performance: 29-inch span, 11 ounces without the 800 to 850 Li-Po battery. If you can cut and glue flat sheet stock this method is for you. Bending your 3mm sheet foam to shape is avoided by the vacuum formed plastic pieces that fit the airframe. The kit includes all the plastic needed, including a pilot figure and a spare spinner and backplate. To make assembly easier, the plans have all the patterns and instructions with plenty of illustrations and even a shopping list. The models available are: The Miss America, P-51 Mustang, ME-109, and Spitfire. A P-40 will be added soon. All Cartoon Warbird kits are priced at $28.00 each.
