The GremTwin can be set up with differential thrust to provide rudder-like maneuvers including hammerhead turns, or just link the throttles with a Y cable for normal flying. Coming in at approximately 3 pounds, the GremTwin provides enjoyable flying for 8+ minutes on motors drawing 150-200 watts with 3-cell 1300 mAh batteries in each fuselage pod. If longer flying time is desired the pods do have room for longer battery packs. “Delta” or elevon mixing radio is required. While not a trainer design, the GremTwin can be flown by anyone proficient with an aileron trainer. The kit is available in two versions, a $75 full kit or an almost ready-to-cover
version for $125 in which the wing and fuselages are pre-built leaving just radio/motor installation, final assembly, and covering to be done.
