Icelandair ends Denver freeze IIcelandair is to begin year-round, non-stop services from Denver, Colorado, to Reykjavik in May 2012, becoming the first carrier to launch a new transatlantic service to DIA in more than 10 years. Explore plans to eclipse out west Explore has a special ‘Eclipse’
departure next May which will see guests witnessing the rare annular eclipse across the Western USA. The operator’s 15-day eclipse tour
will travel from Los Angeles to Las Vegas, with a stop on day nine (May 20) in Monument Valley to witness the eclipse. Located on the Utah-Arizona border, Monument Valley (pictured) is known for its red buttes and mesas.
