BHETA Launches Connex Service For Manufacturer/Distributor
Partnerships The British Home Enhancement Trade Association (BHETA), which has launched a web-based manufacturer / distributor finding service for its DIY and Housewares members called BHETA Connex, has secured its first potential partner. German flatware, cutlery and table top manufacturer, Carl Mertens, has asked for its profile to be listed on the Member Zone of the new BHETA website with a view to pairing up with a UK distributor.
Based in Solingen, Carl Mertens has manufactured stainless steel cutlery, flatware and table top accessories for the mid to high end market since 1919. Its collections are already represented in outlets all over the world including the Ka De We in Berlin and the Shin Kong Place in Peking. Claudia Brüngel, international sales manager of Carl Mertens, said, “We are really looking forward to working with a distribution partner in the UK through the good offices of BHETA.”
