After closing 2010 with a record 869 multisport clubs, USA Triathlon reached 900 official clubs for the first time in the organization’s history in August.
No matter the level of multisport skill, athletes can enhance their triathlon experience by joining a local club, which allows athletes to train smarter, harder and have more fun with like-minded individuals. Official clubs receive access to a number of important resources from USA Triathlon and are eligible for race discounts and discounts from
USA Triathlon partners. USA Triathlon actively seeks input from its official clubs to help enhance the benefit structure for its clubs. Visit

Facilities in Iowa, Minnesota Meet Requirements to Become USAT Certified Training Centers
USA Triathlon is pleased to announce that the YMCA Healthy Living Center in Clive, Iowa, and the OptumHealth Performance Center of Eden Prairie, Minn., have met the rigorous requirements of the multisport National Governing Body to be named the nation’s sixth and seventh USA Triathlon Certified Training Centers.
“We are thrilled to welcome these additions to USA Triathlon’s family of Certified Training Centers,” said Angie Murphy, USA Triathlon Coaching Specialty Manager. “These facilities will provide state-of-the-art equipment, performance testing and access to certified coaches to a number of USA Triathlon constituents.”
