Legrand targets contractors with Arteor training regime
A free training programme offered by Legrand has already helped more than 200 contractors, installers and system integrators get to grips with its wiring device and home automation range, Arteor.
Two of the most recent companies to take advantage of the courses, which are all project focused, were Rugby-based Blue Ridge Electrical Systems and Orpington-based Hunter Security. Both companies took the advanced Arteor programming course and have since benefitted from the project support offered by Legrand’s technical team. confined to specialist system installers. “As such, we immediately set about planning training programmes aimed at helping in terms of installing the structural cabling and modular elements that form the backbone of all Arteor home automation systems.”
The courses offered by Legrand include lighting, sound and temperature control, all of which are based on the SCS 2 wire BUS protocol, plus ZigBee Radio as a standalone offer, and the total integration of SCS with ZigBee products. They are all
delivered at the company’s Birmingham HQ, and cover everything from the myriad of different product and system functions available through to new installation techniques.
Legrand also offers a range of CPD approved seminars, which cover all of its key product areas, including cable management, Bticino door entry and 3-phase power distribution solutions. Email:
