Mul-T-Lock’s E-Series Padlocks are Guardians of South West highways
Mul-T-Lock’s Sold Secure Gold approved E-Series padlocks have been installed along all the bridges on the A30 by Guardian Security (South West) Ltd as part of an overall security upgrade by South West Highways.
The E-Series Padlock range is available with Mul-T-Lock’s patented Interactive and MT5 locking mechanisms, designed with a high precision 10 telescopic pin tumbler system to withstand physical attack whilst providing reliable operation in the harshest environments.
South West Highways asked Guardian Security (South West) Ltd to suggest a suitable but durable security upgrade to fit secure areas with high quality padlocks and operate off the same master key system, allowing them complete key control.
Guardian Security (South West) Ltd recommended Mul-T-Lock’s E-Series range of Padlocks because of their proven durability and long term performance, together with their specialist weatherproof design. The padlocks provide compliance with current standards and offer flexibility
to accommodate different engineers on site at various points, whilst ensuring we keep complete control of key security. Mul-T-Lock’s E-Series also padlocks feature a double locking, hardened boron alloy steel shackle for greater strength, alongside a rotating hardened disk to provide extra protection to the lock mechanism.
With protective shutters to prevent dust contamination and shackle drainage holes to prevent freezing, the padlocks provide both durability and long term performance, perfect for harsh environments. Sean Monger of Guardian Security (South West) Ltd added: “When South West Highways came to us for a flexible, high security and durable solution, we immediately thought of Mul-T-Lock’s E- Series Padlocks range.”
“Their great advantage is the robust design to remain secure in any external and hazardous conditions, combined with the versatility to accommodate complicated master key suites. With up to five being fitted per location, the E-Series range has worked really well to provide the
highest level of padlock security.” Matt Rice, Marketing Manager at Mul-T-Lock concluded: “Supplying E-Series Padlocks for use throughout the south west, is a real example of how the padlocks can protect against ‘real time’ security threats. They form part of Mul-T-Lock’s Extra-Security’ group, incorporating patented innovations which withstand and exceed the most rigorous international standards, for quality and long lasting security.”
Available in four different sizes, the E-Series range is fitted with a rubber bumper to protect the padlock and its surroundings and comes with an aluminium identification tag for easy marking. Finished in a discreet, stylish electrophoretic finish, the E-Series range will also not compromise on aesthetics. Email:
