translates as ‘Live the life’) will be a celebration and commemoration of Seve Ballesteros and the legacy he left behind. Unseen footage of Seve will

times.co.uk and 59club launch roadshows
T
eeofftimes.co.uk and 59club are to run a series of autumn educational roadshows to support golf clubs and to help
generate more revenue from visiting golfers. Invitations for the roadshows, of which a dozen are to be held
around the UK, are currently being sent out by
Teeofftimes.co.uk, the tee-time booking service. The seminars are intended to build on the series of 15 spring
roadshows that offered delegates, representing 150 golf clubs, the opportunity to gain a more in-depth understanding of the online marketplace. The theme for the autumn roadshows, organised
jointly by
Teeofftimes.co.uk and the 59club, a golf industry benchmarking specialist, is revenue and retention. Issues to be covered include customer service, sales processes, benchmarking and the online tee-time marketplace in 2011. Roadshow venues and dates are as follows: East Horton GC,
Hampshire - October 11; Fulford GC, Yorkshire - October 17; The Nottinghamshire G&CC, Nottinghamshire - October 18; Puckrup Hall GC, Gloucestershire - October 20; Northop Country Park, Flintshire - October 25; London GC, Kent - October 26; Foxhills, Surrey - October 27; Mid-Herts GC, Hertfordshire - November 1; Five Lakes Hotel, Golf, Country Club & Spa, Essex - November 3; Flackwell Heath GC, Buckinghamshire - November 8; The Manchester GC, Greater Manchester - November 8 and Gosforth GC, Tyne & Wear - November 9. “The Duke’s has excellent facilities and our championship course will provide the competitors with some challenging play before the final at Kingsbarns, one of St Andrews most feted courses.” The Belhaven Brewery is
reported to already enjoy a close relationship with the Old Course Hotel as it brews the specially-commissioned Jigger Ale which is exclusive to the Kohler-owned Jigger Inn while the hotel also has a partnership agreement with Kingsbarns.
