s per usual, the UK
weather might have put its customary ‘damper’ on proceedings,
but there is no taking away GB&I’s glorious victory at the Walker Cup at the start of this month. And to make it all the more thrilling, it wasn’t a stomping victory, but one with a narrow margin that made it all the more nail-biting. Sweet victory after eight years of not claiming the cup as our own. And in terms of trophy sizes, what a magnificent specimen, eh? That really makes you feel as if you’ve won something substantial. I suppose it’s appropriate when it comes to team golf. The lads’ victory bodes well for
Alison Nicholas and her ladies as they head towards the magnificent Killeen Castle for the Solheim Cup. Let’s hear it for the girls, eh? In fact, I wish you would hear it for the girls in that it was broadcast more on national TV and radio. But until that moment arrives, it is
good to see that the ‘Dunkirk spirit’ prevails. Any foreigners threatening to plunder our spoils will get short shrift. And let that be a lesson to all would- be golfing invaders.
Pro-Shop Europe continues to stay true to its three core beliefs; people, products and practice. Our mission is to engage with pros, helping them to improve their coaching and marketing skills and ultimately, increase their revenue
