NEWS // FEATURES // NEW PRODUCTS Kaisertech Launches New Apollo Seiko Routing System

Kaisertech are proud to add a new range of Routing Systems fromApollo Seiko. The new, three- axis desktop robot has integral position detection encoders. An electric router with exclusive and easy to use software, the unit also comes with the recently launched Kaisertech high powered dust collection kit. A glass epoxy or standard

FR-4 PCB, equal to or less than 1.6mm thickness, can be cut while monitoring the router bit sharpness. This capability reduces faulty cutting situations. CEO David Sibley said “We

have added this new line due to consumer demand. We have been dealing with Apollo Seiko for 12 years now, and have found their product range to be of the highest quality and easy to use. For more information and to order please visit the company’s website at

LPKF Debuts New Laser Plastic Welding Resource LPKF, a leading manufacturer of laser and electronic systems, announces the launch of a new blog and resource site about laser plastic welding. Located atwww.laserplasticwelding.com, the Web site is an extension of LPKF Laser & Electronics, and introduces and educates both engineers and designers about the latest laser plastic welding information. The intention of the site is to provide a central resource for laser plastic

welding information, in the form of webinars, white papers, videos and case studies. The “Resources” page is populated with a range of content, with new content added on a consistent basis. Additionally, this site provides a “LPW 101” page. This is for visitors that are new to the industry and shows what the technology has to offer as well as why it is a driving force behind innovative devices in the manufacturing, medical and automotive industries. “Our goal is that the site will encourage laser welding discussions and

promote a two-way information fl ow in which content is the catalyst, but not the only means of gaining laser welding knowledge,” said Stephan Schmidt,President. The site has a comprehensive, dynamic comments system. Located beneath each page or post, users are able to ask questions or comment on the content of a page. The system displays the comments in an orderly format, providing an excellent discussion platform. Visitors may subscribe to receive email notifi cations for new posts.

Additionally, upcoming Webinar information is available on the right side of the site. This comprehensive resource is available to visitors at no cost.

Kaisertech’s new routing systems from Apollo Seiko.

New 159-195 MHz CVCOFLM VCO from Crystek Corporation features extra modulation port for transmitter applications

The CVCO55FLM-0150-0195 operates from 150 MHz to 195 MHz with a control voltage range of 0.3V~4.7V. This VCO (Voltage Controlled Oscillator) features a typical phase noise of -118 dBc/Hz @ 10KHz offset and has excellent linearity. Crystek Corporation’s VCOs

contain an extra modulation port (TX modulation), making the family an ideal choice for transmitter applications. The modulation port has a negative slope and a typical modulation sensitivity of -25KHz/V. Engineered and manufactured

in the USA, the model CVCO55FLM-0150-0195 is packaged in the industry-standard 0.5-in. x 0.5-in. SMD package. Output power is typically 0 dBm, and input voltage is 5V, with a max. current consumption of 5 mA. Pulling and Pushing are minimized to 1.5 MHz and 0.5 MHz/V, respectively. Second harmonic suppression is -15 dBc typical.
