GAP TR Rifle My wife Heidi is most elated about
this 2011 project bearing the Thunder Ranch logo. The Templar-built ac- tion, with 22" Bartlein barrel, cham- bered in .308 and mounted to a Man- ners stock is a very pet project of hers. Being an absolute long-range, rifle- shooting queen she could not have done any better than to have George Gardner’s GA Precision Team build the Thunder Ranch bolt-action rifle. Wearing a Badger iron bottom end, while using AI detachable magazines, the system is flawless. Heidi and George selected the specifications for the rifle and the new GAP/TR rifle will proudly bear the TR logo. Trust me, this thing is a laser beam
and if Heidi doesn’t buy them all then the rest of you might be able to get one … if you’re lucky.
Mossberg TR500 With the help of Tom Taylor from
Mossberg, 2011 will bring a very af- fordable home- or personal-defense shotgun in the form of
the TR500 12-gauge, pump-action shotgun
onto the marketplace. The 18"-bar- reled gun wears a breaching muzzle for breaching or weapon retention purposes and the barrel mounts a bead-sight forward. The special high- quality forearm will accept one of the many rail-mounted lights in the illu- mination marketplace and the center- placed safety catch addresses am- bidextrous folks needing a shotgun. With the addition of a mounted side ammunition carrier by the buyer, the TR500 will prove to be an affordable and effective home-defense shotgun — having all the appropriate logic as- sets of a true fighting shotgun. The guns I selected from Thun-
der Ranch are always guns I actually carry and use, and therefore would — and in some case did — bet my life on. Over the years a few complained about the calibers, gun choices, the logo size and bling and whatnot … in most cases was sour grapes, as you can pretty much bet no one made a gun or offered to make a gun with their name or their logo on the side plate. About the money? I guess it could
have been, but most of all, Heidi and I did what we did because it was fun, we believe in it and it has in many cas- es helped people. *

...a LOT more than ANYTHING that’s not at hand when you need it. Your large, powerful, heavy, difficult to carry (fill in the blank) is of absolutely no use when you’ve left it at home, in the car, etc...
Regardless of your location, your dress or the season, NO gun is easier to carry or conceal than a North American Arms mini-revolver. Is it an effective deterrent? Would you want to be shot with one?
Join the millions who “don’t leave home without one”! Remember Rule #1:
Have a gun!
