Stihl Promising An Exciting Show A popular stop on the IOG Saltex stand tour, STIHL (Stand DAC03) will be showcasing its professional power tool range with new models joining familiar favourites this year. Visitors will find new light weight petrol hedge trimmers, economic and efficient brushcutters and clearing saws, an extended range of cordless power tools, plus powerful new chain saws and protective clothing from STIHL. Also on display, the VIKING range of garden care tools includes a nimble new ride-on and straightforward push mower both launched this spring. STIHL is running two special promotions until the end of September, adding even greater value to selected petrol hedge trimmers and all products in its KombiSystem range. And that gives even more reason to choose a power tool from STIHL.
Among the new products on show at Saltex this year are STIHL’s lightest ever petrolhedge trimmers launched this July. The new models HS 46 C-E and HS 56 C-E are alsothe first 2-MIX hedge trimmers from STIHL, and with their gentle- start ErgoStart featureand simple new 3-step starting system they are not only light weight but also easy, economic and efficient to use. With Maruyama Outdoor power tool expert Maruyama is coming to the UK through experienced Leicestershire-based importer DMMP. DMMP, already UK agents for a number of well-established overseas brands, is delighted to announce that it has been appointed UK partner and distributor for Japanese outdoor power tool expert, Maruyama. The range will be officially launched at Saltex 2011 in September.
The Maruyama range includes strimmers and brush cutters, multicutter systems, edgers, blowers, hedge trimmers and accessories. “Maruyama products have been made in Japan since 1895,” explains DMMP managing director Marcus Palmer. “They have a reputation for extraordinary quality, rugged durability and superior performance so naturally we were thrilled to be appointed UK importers and distributors. I am confident our home market will appreciate the range’s dedicated innovation and manufacturing excellence plus a commercial warranty which is the longest in the industry. These are tools designed to earn a living.”
On inception in 1895, Maruyama was a family business making fire extinguishers. Manual sprayers joined the production line in 1918. Development of a power sprayer in 1933 meant that Maruyama played an important role in disaster control and prevention as well as food production in the agricultural industry during the post-depression years. Today Masanobu Ogashira continues the commitment that began with three generations of the Uchiyama family. Maruyama joins DMMP’s stable of top quality imported products including Chapin, EarthWay and PolyWood.
