Elizabeth Bright Chrz I came home this evening and we had electricity, which means I also had air conditioning! We appreciate your hard work and long hours. We were pleasantly surprised that we had power so soon. I appreciate the update yesterday when I called the Kay Electric office. With no television or internet service, we didn't know how extensive the damage was until then. You are awesome!

Prior to the August storm, our

Facebook page had 260 fans, but 72 hours after the storm hit, our fan base more than doubled. We now have 560 ‘fans’ on the site. We had more than 150 post/likes and well appreciated comments for KEC employees. This resource is another way we can help improve our communications between KEC and its members. The second week of August was a

challenging week for KEC, however, we all know Oklahoma weather can bring just about anything at any time. As your electric cooperative, we will continue to do our best to provide affordable, reliable and safe electricity to our members. As your General Manager Joe Harris said, “If we can make it through the 2002 Ice Storm, we can make it through anything.” 445004
