CO-OP LIVING

Oklahoma Living Going digital? Yep, there is an app for that

Welcome Page

O

klahoma Living announced the launch of a new website and a digital edition in its August edition, but the excit- ing news did not stop in August— this month, we’re thrilled to introduce our readers to a FREE, downloadable Okla- homa Living Magazine app. Now, you can take your Oklahoma Living everywhere you go through a mobile device such as an iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch.

With the Oklahoma Living Magazine app, our readers will be able to:

✓ Easily scroll through virtual pages as

they appear in print ✓ Conduct keyword searches ✓ Access live links to e-mails and websites ✓ E-mail excerpts of the magazine to

friends ✓ Browse through archives ✓ Increase font size for better readability ✓ View thumbnail pages ✓ View local Co-op newsletter inserts digi-

tally

Once you download the app, you will be prompted to register by providing your name and e-mail address. This is an optional step, but we would appreciate your partici- pation! Whether you choose to register or not, you will also notice we have provided an e-mail privacy policy for protection of your name and e-mail.

Once you’ve downloaded the app, you will need to “launch” the most recent edition. Please note the average downloading time for launching an edition is approximately seven minutes. For fi rst-time users, a one-time instruc-

tional page will appear – you can touch any- where on the screen for the page to go away. You will be able to download each edition individually. The app currently has the July, August and September editions. We hope you will take some time to become familiar with the app at your leisure!

We are pleased to introduce these digital enhancements as venues to interact with our readers. Visit us online at www.ok-living. coop to access the digital edition, contact our staff, submit ideas and much more. We can also be found on Facebook at www.face- book.com/OklahomaLivingMagazine. Give us a shout and enjoy our fun posts. These digital tools have been added not to replace the print version of the magazine, but to provide our readers with an alterna- tive means of reading Oklahoma Living. But, remember, whether you read Okla- homa Living’s print or digital edition, we ap- preciate your readership. OL
