Twitter is a great tool for keeping up with and updating your colleagues, industry influencers and even your brides. But it can be overwhelming to follow your Twitter feed and you can’t spend every minute on Twitter. Luckily there are tools out there to help.


Two of our favorites are TweetDeck and Hootsuite, offering ways to view and organize your Twitter feed for better manageability. Both offer options for viewing your lists and scheduling your tweets—so important in organizing your Twitter feed. Both offer free options as well. Here’s a quick peek at how they work below.


Hootsuite is web-based application that connects with your Twitter account to allow you to view your Twitter feed and send messages on your Twitter account. There are free and pro options.

 TweetDeck was recently bought by Twitter which should add new developments soon.


So, which should you choose? If you’re updating multiple accounts daily, including Facebook Pages and Ning networks (like WedTown),, Hoot- suite may be the best bet. TweetDeck however, allows numerous columns without creating new tabs. Try both and see what feels best to you!
