scholarships.


The following students will receive scholarships of $2,500 each:


Molly McCool, Eufaula; Katie Fite, Panola; Layla Myers, McAlester; Azaleah Gomez, Wilburton; Brad Knight, Wilburton; Amber Goddard, McAlester; Eric Mead, Heavener; Morgan Mings, Whitesboro; Tyler Slawson, Kiowa; and Jared Cook, Panola.


Operation Roundup offers scholarships to two graduating high school seniors and two second- year college students every year, Scholarship recipients are required to attend an accredited two- or four-year college or university in Oklahoma, and maintain a strong grade point average.

Spraying is complete along right of way running from the Manning and Shady Point substations.


Clearing and trimming along right of way running from the Coal Creek substation at Howe is almost 50 percent complete.

Work continues in the areas near Wister Lake, Heavener, and Fanshawe. Afterward, crews will begin clearing right of way running south and east of Talihina


Members living near areas targeted for right of way maintenance will receive a notice from Kiamichi Electric in the mail explaining when and how the work will be done.
