BY SALLY PARKER The background: Marketed by Elite Island Resorts, this is an all-inclusive hotel with amazing facilities and a huge selection of activities on offer.
Where is it? Pink Gin Beach on the Southwest tip of Grenada.
The Room: Nicely decorated with dark wood furniture including a very high bed and a walk-in-style wardrobe, plus a safe, radio, fridge, iron, telephone, A/C and fan. The large bathroom comes with Spa toiletries. There is also a small balcony.

Facilities and Activities: Starting from 7am every morning there’s Tai Chi, yoga, walks, jogging, cycle rides, fitness and stretch classes, fencing, archery, golf (with instruction for all levels), pool and beach volleyball, aqua aerobics, table tennis, a pool and a gym with weights. Watersports include water-skiing, wake boarding, tubing, ocean kayaking, Hobie Cat sailing, windsurfing and snorkelling. Certified divers can dive free three times during a seven-
night stay and beginners can experience a free try dive. A programme of the next day’s activities is left in your room each night. There's a split-level swimming pool and another pool alongside a heated Jacuzzi. Each guest receives a treatment every day in the Oasis spa – including massages.
The Restaurants: There are four restaurants and three bars: the Garden Restaurant for breakfast and lunch buffets; The Café Deli for snacks, salads, smoothies and afternoon tea; Oscars Beach Bar and Restaurant for à la Carte lunch and Table D’Hote dinner; and the Great House Restaurant for an à la carte dinner. There is also a piano bar opening from 18.00 daily, with backgammon and chess tables, and the terrace lounge serves drinks from midday. Board games are available in the lounge. Solo travellers can join guests in the piano bar, for dinner hosted by the staff.
The Cost: Kuoni has seven nights all- inclusive in a luxury room, including flights with BA from Gatwick and transfers, for May 2011 from £1883pp, based on two sharing.
Recommend to: Couples, groups and singles – there really is something for everyone. Weddings are complimentary for guests staying seven nights. Honeymoon couples receive a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine, fresh flowers and a 'massage for two'.
Getting There: Five flights a week with Virgin, BA and Monarch. LaSource is less than a mile from the airport, with transfers included in a white stretch limo.

The Verdict
It's the many activities which really make LaSource stand out from the crowd. There’s so much to do you could be there for months without running out of things to keep you occupied! Perhaps that's why over 40 per cent of guests return each year.
