Vanquish Guitars to introduce guitar broker-style service
Guitar Lounge will act as a centre for guitar owners to sell their instruments with utmost confidence...
eterborough-based manufacturer Vanquish Guitars has announced plans to extend its operation with a new guitar broker service. The aim of the new store is to allow customers to sell their own guitar by paying a one-off fee and have their instrument set up and given its own wall space, an alternative to websites such as eBay. Guitar Lounge is designed to give customers greater piece of mind when trading in their guitar by ensuring they are in good condition and ready to go before being put up on the wall. Customers can choose from Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum packages as well, should they require any different setups or modifications, and Guitar Lounge will take care of any marketing or photographs to help with the sale. Visitors to the store
P
also have the option of getting a custom Vanquish guitar made to their own specifications. The process begins with a tour of the workshop and a personal consultation, before the customer is then invited to select their own tone woods, inlays, hardware and finish.
As well as being a
dealer for Vanquish Guitars, shoppers will be able to choose from a range of other guitar- related brands, such as T- Rex effects and strings from Elixir and Rotosound.
It will also be home to various other lesser- seen names in the guitar industry, including Bass Is, a full range of classic vintage basses and Tone Doctor’s K-Line series and Louis Electric amplifiers. “We’re looking to make this a complete service and nobody else in the country is doing anything like this as far as I know,” said the company’s director and founder, Adrian Hardman. “We’re also going to try and make this the centre of a guitar community. People will be able to meet up here and have a coffee and we’re thinking about having barbecues at weekends. “We want to make this a guitar shop for
you, where customers can buy, sell and exchange, meet other players and try before they buy.” There are also plans for an on-site guitar
teacher to give lessons, amplifier clinics from a specialist once a month, a sound proofed demo room and there is also a possibility of a bass centre being introduced in the future. Guitar Lounge will get its official opening on June 5th and will be situated just off Junction 17 of the A1(M) at Unit 56, Culley Court, Orton, Southgate, Peterborough, PE2 6WA.
