Kickport to line-up Supplier to introduce its new acoustic brand at MIRC
KORG UK has announced the addition of bass drum accessory KickPort to its brand line-up and will also be unveiling a new acoustic guitar range at the MI Retail Conference & Expo. It will be exhibiting the
Walden series, which consists of steel string, classical acoustic and electro acoustic guitars, at the June event. Walden’s factory is the only one in Asia with a certified 100 per cent Pure Chain-of-Custody and it is also a member of The Forest Trust (TFT). “Walden has been very successful in other European markets and is well regarded by those who know it here in the UK,” said Rob Castle, Korg UK’s managing director. “We are excited to add it to our product range.”
Meanwhile, the firm has taken
on Kickport, a range of drum and percussion accessories described by the distributor as “essential modern day tools in a drummer’s reserve.” The Kickport instantly enhances the sound of a bass drum, creating a deeper and fatter, yet more focused sound. As well as using traditional venting, which allows air to move in and out of the drum, it also slows the air exiting the drum by restricting and compressing the flow of air through the tube and then allows the air to rapidly expand or relax through the flared opening. E-MU Hand in Hand with new distributor
E-MU, the 40-year-old electronic music brand, has named Hand in Hand as its exclusive UK distributor. Founded in 1971, E-MU went on to establish itself among the synthesis elite throughout the 1970s and made products that were used by the likes of Frank Zappa and Tangerine Dream.
