Simple Acts through GLOW The Simple Acts campaign is about inspiring people to use small, everyday actions to change perceptions of refugees. The campaign consists of 20 actions that can be done by anyone, such as cooking a dish from another country, watching a film about refugees. This year Scottish Refugee Council, working with GLOW Scotland, has created a GLOW Simple Acts page which will allow teachers to download teaching materials on refugees and the challenges they have faced in seeking safety. Also planned are live ‘lessons’ with representatives from Scottish Refugee Council. Info:
