An opportunity to hear readings from three refugee poets based in Scotland. Carlos Arredondo (Chile), Iyad Hayatleh (Palestine), and Qusay Husain (Iraq) will read from their work. Followed by a discussion of the relationship between poetry and community, and poetry’s capacity to lay, in Audre Lorde’s words, ‘the foundation of a future of change, a bridge across our fears of what has been before.’ Info: David Farrier
