Taking place in Costa Calida Murcia, Spain on the 29th- 30th of July, you can expect a big weekend from the Electromar festival!

To celebrate its 5th edition, Electromar is collaborating with Moby, releasing his new album “Destroyer”. On the 16th May Electromar/ Moby/ Ellen Allien will be holding a concert which will be the only concert that Moby will play in Spain this year. Over the years Moby has become one of the most successful artists, ac- quiring eight top 40 singles in the UK during the 90’s. In 1999 he re- leased “Play” which was a mix of melancholic chill-out, ambient and

upbeat electronic which was criti- cally acclaimed and produced an impressive eight hit singles with popular songs such as: “South Side” “Porcelain”, “Natural Blues”, and “Why Does My Heart Feel so Bad”, with worldwide success selling over 10 million copies. The albums “18” (2002), “Hotel” (2005), “Last Night” 2008, and “Wait for Me” (2009) were less successful, although well received by critic’s. Indeed, Moby is regarded as one of the most

important dance music figures of the early 90’s, helping bring music to a mainstream audience.

German electronic artist Ellen Al- lien will also be playing. Her blend of Electro and dance floor music features inspiration from German culture and the reunification of the country. The artist dedicated her album Stadtkind to the city. The festival will be taking place in Costa Calida (Murcia, Spain) on the 29th-30th of July 2011. Also
