The Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Authority has launched its new ‘Antigua A-List’ incentive scheme to reward travel agents making major bookings to the twin-island destination. Agents making bookings in excess of £20,000 before October 31 2011 will make it onto the A-List. They will receive the ‘Antigua A-List’ trophy and qualify for a range of star-quality prizes. These agents will be invited to a champagne reception, receive gift vouchers and the opportunity to grab 'must-see' concert tickets. In addition they will get the chance of an invitation to go on an exclusive educational trip to Antigua and Barbuda. This will be a dedicated fam for the top 10 'Antigua A-List' agents. Macau hosts its lucky winners The Macau Government Tourist


Office has hosted six lucky agents on a fam trip to the ex-Portuguese colony. The agents earned their place in a


competition run through the Macau Specialist Training Scheme and travelled on a four-night fam trip. They visited the Historic Centre of Macau (a UNESCO World Heritage Site) to see how architecture from both the East and West sits alongside each other, and learnt about Macau’s fascinating blend of Chinese and Portuguese heritage. Agents also saw Macau’s beaches and lush countryside. They took in the breathtaking views from the top of the Macau Tower, saw a


number of top shows, including Cirque du Soleil’s Zaia and The Bubble Show at City of Dreams. They sampled Macanese cuisine and visited the new Giant Panda Pavilion on Coloane. They completed their Macau experience by joining a local Tai Chi class in the park. www.macauspecialist.co.uk
